- Water makes up about 75 % of your body weight. It helps keep body temperature constant at about 98.6 degrees, it transports nutrients and oxygen to all cells and carries waste products away.
- Water covers 70 % of the Earth’s surface. Only 1 % of Earth’s water can be used by people. The rest is frozen or is the salt water in oceans.
- Depending on your child’s age, weight and acƟvity level, they should drink at least 6‐8 cups a day and eat the recommended number of servings of fruits and vegetables.
